28 Today


Skyping
 Its been a while since I posted to my blog. Today is my 28th Birthday and Mum bought me a wireless modem so if I get some support from my carers I will be able to keep up-to-date with my social networking.

I will post a photo of my birthday cake and dinner-we are having Moroccan Lamb-for Sarah's sake as she is in Morocco.

The Hotrod Automotive Extravaganza

Paul recently went to the 'Hotrod Rumble' at Wave's Nightclub. The day was lovely, not a cloud in the sky. Paul was able to get upclose to these Hotrod beauties.

"I went to the cars, with Natalie. The car yard, had a good day."

Paul had a great day at the Hotrod Rumble, seeing many hot cars & bikes. Paul can't wait to attend the next one..!

The Show!

"Ready Steady Cook! is my favourite cooking show."

Early this year, Paul had the grand opportunity to go to Sydney, at Pyrmont, where Channel Ten Studios are located.

Paul left for Sydney early in the morning, to beat the traffic, but we were not early enough if would seem, as the traffic was present. After much stopping & starting, Paul finally made it to Ten Studios, the excitement was building. Once we were seated, the show began!

Out came Peter Everett, he came over & shook Paul's hand, Paul was so excited that Peter came over & said Hello. Peter also offered some great photo moments.

Paul watched two shows, one was the celebrity chef, featuring two channel Ten presenters. Paul enjoyed screaming "Stop Cooking!" & the countdown "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...". The studio staff loved Paul's enthusiasm. Once the meals were cooked, Paul assisted to decide whether the Tomato or Capsicum team would win.

Paul then went up to the kitchen & proceded to taste the foods that the chefs prepaired. "Yum yum!" in between chewing & swallowing was all that Paul could utter.

What a great day Paul had. Paul was apart of his favourite show & got to meet Peter Everett on Ready, Steady, Cook!

Moose Attack! - Don't Cry Over Spilt Moose...

Moose is up for dessert... "yum yum" ... Uh oh...

"who did this mess?" Paul's dropped the bowl. There is chocolate moose everywhere.

"Paul did it! Paul's done this mess"

Wait a minute...

How did moose get on there Paul?

"Chocolate moose, everywhere!"

AHM Hawks

This happened a little while ago, but it gives me a chance to tell you all a story...



I am an avid & enthusiastic supporter of many sports, one of my favourites is, Basketball. So when i had the opportunity to attend the Hawks first NBL game of the 2009/2010 season, i jumped on the possibility.


Towards the end of the 2008 season, the then IMB Hawks were in dire financial trouble. That was until public rallying, started by the Hawks team captain, to save the team, achieved their goal in early 2009. The winning campaign meant the now, AHM Hawks were able to stay in the National Basketball League and compete for the 2009/2010 season.


I attended the ‘Sand Pit’ (the Hawks home court in Wollongong) early to get settled in my
seat & to prepare for the oncoming chanting & support. On came the music & out came the Hawk’s to the crowds delight. The away team was the Perth Wildcats, a strong team to say the slightest. The game began, with barrages of ‘swish’ hoops, shots taken from ‘way down town’ & fancy fast foot work. My support for my team was paramount & unmatched. The game was close to say the least. But once again, Wollongong showed that they have one of the strongest teams in the NBL, finishing with the close victory of 94 to 92.


The magic then came after the show for me. As to top the night off, i got to meet & greet some of the players from the team, with some great photo opportunities & signage. I now have a big collage above my bed with all my photos to remember the night i met the Hawks, always.
